A desert civilization hooked on drugs?  A teenager wandering the city who ends up in a mental hospital?  An animal revolution?  You've heard of many of these books, but chances are good that you didn't know just how amazing the stories are.  From the Big Brother government of 1984, to the haunting reincarnation of a slave's murdered daughter in Beloved, you won't be disappointed.  These books are called Classics for a reason!
