In conjunction with the Central New York Chapter of American Society for Training & Development, the ATTAIN Lab at the SEOC participated in Employee Learning Week,
December 8th-12th.
Employee Learning Week (ELW) is an opportunity for companies to demonstrate their commitment to workforce development.
Training is more important now than ever before. The growing skills gap and the increased need to compete in today’s economy require organizations to develop a knowledgeable and highly skilled workforce. That's why the ATTAIN Lab was proud to showcase its Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS)training program during ELW and throughout the month of December. By the end of the month, nine students were able to complete their training and successfully pass the MCAS exam. This is a prestigious accomplishment, attained only by those individuals with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of MS Office 2007 programs. It is an internationally-recognized standard, and demonstrates to employers that a person can use MS Office programs to the fullest exent.
For information about how you or your employees can register for this program, contact the ATTAIN Lab Coordinator, Amanda Wall, at wallam@morrisville.edu or 472-0130.
