OSHA-10 Hour Construction Training Program


Syracuse EOC’s OSHA-10 Hour Construction Training Program provides training to Construction workers for occupational safety and health in order to introduce students to basic practices of identifying, reducing, eliminating and reporting hazards associated with their work.  New York State has a state law requiring most workers on publicly funded construction sites to possess the OSHA wallet card proving they have completed the OSHA 10 hour construction training course.  Once Students have completed the course, they will be issued a temporary certificate and a Department of Labor card will be issued within 4-6 weeks.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

-       Applicant must be 17 years or older to apply

-       All prospective students are required to provide photo ID with a New York State address

-       Applicant must complete an EOC application
