High School Equivalency Program-HSE

 

The High School Equivalency (HSE) program is a comprehensive course of study designed to provide students with the depth of knowledge and skills needed to take the NYS GED exam. Instructional areas include English Language Arts Reading, English Language Arts Writing, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.  Students also develop essential critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

 

Academic Eligibility Requirements:

Minimum 7.0 TABE reading score

Minimum 6.0 TABE math score

Attend Orientation

 

Program Completion Requirements:

-   New York State High School Equivalency Diploma attainment
